Terms of use, in plain words.

What this site is right now. UmmahArt is a marketplace in preparation. Today you can apply to sell your art, join the opening-day email list, and try the studies shop in test mode. Test orders charge nothing and print nothing. Real sales have not started: the artist marketplace opens later, and real ordering of the studies opens when our print partner is connected — this page will say so plainly when it does.

Applying as an artist. Applying costs nothing and creates no obligation on either side. You must own the work you show us. We review every application by hand and may decline any application; declining is a statement about what this shop sells, not a judgment of your work.

Content scope. The marketplace carries Islamic-themed art and non-figurative nature and landscape art by Muslim artists. A full content policy is published before artist shops open, and seller terms (including how artists are paid) are agreed before anything is sold.

This page will grow. Before the shop opens, these terms will be replaced with full buyer and seller terms, announced on this page with the date of change.
