Copyright & content reports

Whose art is on UmmahArt. Every piece here is one of three things: an artist's own work (every artist warrants they own what they upload — it is in our terms), a public-domain museum piece with its source named on its page, or a study drawn by us. Selling someone else's work as your own is theft, and we treat it that way.

Report artwork that infringes. If you believe a piece on UmmahArt copies your work — or anyone's — email salaam@ummahart.com with a link to the piece and a link to the original. A person reviews every report. Work that infringes comes down, and an artist who uploads stolen work loses their studio. Every artwork page also carries a "Report this artwork" link that starts this email for you.

Formal DMCA notices. Copyright owners (or their agents) may send takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to salaam@ummahart.com. Include what the DMCA asks for: identification of your work, the URL of the material here, your contact details, a good-faith statement, a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury, and your signature. We act on valid notices by removing the material.

If your work was removed in error, reply to the removal email and say so. A person reviews it — removal is not a verdict, and an honest counter-explanation gets a real look.

This page says what we actually do; it is not legal advice for your situation. Questions: salaam@ummahart.com.
