Sizes, and what prints well

This page answers one question: why is my piece not offered in every size? The short answer is that we never enlarge your file. If the image does not have the pixels a size needs, that size is simply not offered, we would rather show you fewer sizes than sell someone a soft print with your name on it.

The numbers below are read straight from the same table the software checks against, so this page cannot drift out of date.

Garment sizes (S, M, L, XL) share one print area, so one file covers all of them. A size marked “not offered” for sacred text is a standing rule, not a judgement on a particular piece: Qur’anic and hadith calligraphy is sold on wall prints only, never on anything worn below the waist, walked on, sat on, eaten off, or thrown away.

What we cannot print

Your work becomes merchandise, so a few things have to stay out of the image. If one appears we will ask you to change it rather than reject you.

Ordinary subjects are completely fine: a cup of coffee, a prayer mat, a skyline, a car. The only test is whether a brand is readable. We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice, it is a house rule that keeps a dispute away from you as much as from us.
